Nurgle Sorcerer WIP
Been working on quite a bit. Went to a training all last week and it put a big crimp in what i wanted to have done by now. Heres a peek at the nurgle sorcerer i have been working on. Should finish that up and some other crap finished soon too. Simple color scheme but it came out pretty good. Deathguard scheme..... will be same for the rest of my plague marines. I have about 10 more im gonna have to strip and repaint also, to bring them in line with the scheme.
P.S. UPDATES HAVE BEEN SLOOOOWWW! tryin to pick up the pace. I often forget to post anything though.

FW ORDER
Got some goodies from FW. Upgrage packs, hellblade, rhino/land raider upgrades, nurgle sorcerer and zhufor. Pretty happy with it and everything looks good. A bit of bending as ussual and got them all cleaned up. Hopefully I have them together and some updates soon.
Now when i bought the hellblade i was a little skeptical about how it looked. I bought it simply for some air support in my apoc games. After i got it all together im very impressed with it and I LOVE THIS MODEL! Very likely, this will be the first one with paint on it.

All cleaned up
Got my hobby table all cleaned up along with the rest of the apartment. I have a lot more gumption to paint with a clean workplace. I have a lot to work on and hopefully i can make better progress now. Built about 30 CSM marines ready for base coat. Have a few landraiders and rhinos ready to paint in between to break it up. Hopefully i can get some work done on the traitor guard in between too.

The Black Legion
I am for the most part a modeler. I enjoy conerting and kitbashing for the most part. Since the begining of my warhammer career i have never really had the focus nor the will to sit down and actually complete something. Since my reentry in the gaming with 5th edition ive been getting more and more into the painting aspect as i try to complete and tourney worthy army. After reading through masses of tutorial and buying a set of W&N series 7 brushes ive been getting some results that i am very happy with. Still a bit WIP but here are some of the results.
I had tried NMM gold when i started up again as i was never a big fan of metalics and a big fan of NMM. I could get a good result but not a great result out of NMM. It was very frustrating to say the least. When i came across Black Matt's blog it really inspired me to try out some metalics and im very happy with the results.

Doomblater Progress
I have the main body of this conversion finished. Really whats left is a horde of detailing and adding in the crew. I am still waiting on my FW zerker upgrades for the 4 zerkers i need. 2 to be loading shells into the comparment and 1 on each side above filling couldrons with blood. Then when you remove the top there will be 2 bloodletters loading the shells into the mortars staning in a pool of blood. Its gone very well so far. Hopefully i can get those upgrades soon and finish it up. BTW, I normally dont primer anything till im copletly done but i had to to be able to play it in our lucky 13 campaign.

Doomblaster of Khorne
Last month i played in the lucky thirteen campaign and realized superheavies are a bucket load of awesomeness and i HAD to get started on a least one. Ive had a few in mind for a long time but Ive never actually got around to actually building any. With inspiration on the rise and a week till the next lucky thirteen battle I decided to go out and buy a shadowsword to convert into a Doom Blaster. While not the most devastating superheavy it can provide something i am lacking heavily...... long range firepower. With 12-72 inch range i should be able to do some damage early. Here are some plans i drew up a while ago.
And here are some WIP pics,

Traitor Guard
I intantly fell into the luring forces of the warp since i started playing 40k and traitor guard have always held a place in the back of my mind. A little over a year ago and after amassing a largish army of CSM, I decided it was time to realize the dark side of IG. With my CSM army bieng Black Legion i decided to pick up the fluff that would interconnect my 2 forces. The short of it: After turning renegade during the invasion of their hive world they were introduced into the fold of my Black Legions military forces. Occupying a small grouping of planets inside the Maelestrom my lord has used them as an occupying force for his holdings and overseers for the inumerable slaves within. Their main base of operations bieng a Volcanic Death world.
About 6 month after starting my Traitor Guard army the new dark elf plastics came out. I thought these would be perfect for the feel of my army with the fluff bieng on a volcanic world. Besides buying a battalion as a base start for a fantasy army i picked up a Cold one knights box to use in a rough rider conversion. These have been sitting on my shelf for about 6 months now. With renewed vigor i have pulled them back off the shelf and onto the hobby table. I have a Sgt. finished and hopefully the next 4 will come along in the next couple weeks. Here is a pic of the completed Sgt.
Heres a few of the troops i have done, please excuse the dust. These are just base cadian with a sculpted "gas mask" and a few doodads here and there.
And last but not least i have my commander based from a commisar with a powerfist from the old Noise marine champ.

Beginings
Bear with me, im new to blogging but i should have some thing of substance up this weekend. Sorry if you come to my blank page for the moment. Ive gotten tired of the gibber jabber of most sites and just want a place to post my stuff for people to enjoy. At the moment i am have tons of chaos projects backlogged as i lose interest once the basecoat is on and a traitor guard army i am working on based off cadian models. I have a bunch of other stuff but your gonna see a lot of those 2 coming up first. Who knows, I might even finish some projects from sprue to varnish all the way to the table top.
